Below are our top tips for Candle Care ~

TRIM YOUR WICK

Trimming your wick is an essential part of Candle Care. Your wick should be trimmed to approximately 4mm before the first burn and before each time you relight your candle,

THE FIRST BURN IS IMPORTANT

You want to ensure that the top layer of your candle has fully liquified on your first burn. This can take 3-4 hours.  Do not extinguish your candle until the melt pool has reached the edge of your candle jar.

KEEP THE CANDLE CLEAN AND FREE OF ANY DEBRIS

Never leave any unburnt matches or fallen wicks in your candle. This will avoid charring (black edges) and potential fire hazards.

4 HOUR BURN TIME

We recommend not burning your candle any longer than 4 hours at a time. This will help again in avoiding charring and black smoke.

CORRECT STORAGE AND SAFETY

Keep your candles away from light and away from extreme heat and cold. Our lids can be used under your candle to protect your surfaces. Always ensure surfaces when burning. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
